Position Summary
The Education Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of educational programs and services. This role focuses on scheduling, record-keeping, communication, program logistics, and supporting staff, students, and families through efficient systems and processes.
The Education Coordinator works closely with educators, administrators, families, and community partners to support program delivery, maintain compliance, and ensure educational services are organized, accessible, and responsive.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate student, staff, and program records, files, and databases.
- Coordinate schedules, calendars, appointments, meetings, and educational events.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and program documentation.
- Support registration, enrollment, attendance tracking, and file management processes.
- Organize and maintain educational resources, materials, and office supplies.
- Assist with the implementation and daily administration of educational programs and activities.
- Support program logistics, including room bookings, materials preparation, and event coordination.
- Monitor deadlines, compliance requirements, and administrative procedures.
- Help track budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation as required.
- Support data collection and reporting for internal and external requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for families, students, staff, and community partners.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding programs, schedules, and procedures.
- Assist with communication materials such as newsletters, notices, and updates.
- Support family engagement through clear, timely, and professional communication.
- Ensure records and documentation align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and organizational information.
- Support audits, reporting deadlines, and administrative reviews.
- Assist in updating policies, procedures, and operational documents.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Office Administration, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in administrative support, educational settings, or program coordination.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, databases, and office systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
- Criminal record check and other certifications as required.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time
- Primarily office-based environment
- May include occasional evenings and weekend for events or program support.
