Responsibilities
- Tasks
- Prepare patients for dental examinations
- Prepare plaster models and moulds
- Order dental and office supplies
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
- Perform intra-oral duties
- Take and develop X-rays
- Invoice patients for dental services
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant within a dental practice
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
- Familiarity with dental software is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
