WHAT WILL OUR BARTENDER DO?
You are the primary sales person for the restaurant. You are responsible for selling and serving food and beverages and upholding Hy’s service philosophy. To be successful in this role, you have thorough knowledge and demonstrated competence in the following areas:
· High level of proficiency in cocktail bar tending, wine service and mixology.
Food knowledge including being able to explain the layout, contents and general theme of all food menus
· Beverage knowledge including explaining the layout, contents and general theme of all wine and beverage menus
· Technical knowledge including understanding the working principles of the Open Table reservation system, ability to navigate and operate the Squirrel POS system and handling cash
· Adhering to restaurant policy and procedures

· Understanding and knowledge of the fine dining restaurant industry is a must
· The utmost of professionalism and attention to detail
· Strong personal initiative
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
