Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for clean energy, automation, and industrial electrical systems? We are a leading electrification distributor looking for a Customer Service / Order Entry Representative to join our fast-paced team.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for electrical contractors, automation integrators, and industrial clients. You will manage the full order cycle—from initial product inquiries and technical lookups to data entry and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Order Management: Accurately process high-volume customer orders received via phone, email, and the service counter directly into our ERP system.
- Brand & Technical Support: Help with assisting clients with technical product selection and component verification across our major partner lines, including ABB power products, Hoffman enclosures, Omron automation controls, Panduit connectivity solutions, Littelfuse circuit protection, and Weidmüller connectivity and interface components.
- Inventory Control: Check stock availability across our suppliers’ regional warehouses, coordinate with procurement, and notify clients of product lead times.
- Sourcing & Logistics: Prepare precise price quotes, issue pick tickets for the warehouse team, and arrange delivery schedules.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve order discrepancies, track delayed shipments, and process product returns or credits professionally.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of customer service, order entry, or counter sales experience, ideally within electrical wholesale, industrial distribution, or automation supply.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle multi-tasking under pressure with a calm, helpful attitude.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with industrial controls, electrical panels, or data infrastructure hardware is highly valued. Experience with ABB, Hoffman, Omron, Panduit, Littelfuse, Hammond, or Weidmüller catalogs is a major asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience navigating ERP inventory software.
- Speed & Accuracy: Exceptional data entry skills with an eye for detail to prevent costly order mistakes on technical part codes.
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
