Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry and develop foundational skills in food handling and safety.
- 15-20 hours per week
- $16/hour + tips at the start of each week.

- Candidate must be 19+ as we are located in a brewery
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout shifts
- Help with basic cooking tasks as directed, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times
- Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with plating when needed
- Restock supplies and organize kitchen storage areas to promote efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is not required
- Experience with food handling, kitchen cleanliness, and basic food industry practices is a plus
- No formal experience necessary; willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
