We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, including those with special needs, and possess a genuine passion for early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space where children can learn, grow, and thrive through structured activities and attentive caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement throughout the day
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene as needed
- Foster positive social interactions among children to encourage cooperation and emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when necessary
- Assist with classroom management and support other staff members as required
Skills
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong teaching skills to facilitate learning through play and structured activities
- Excellent caregiving abilities with patience, empathy, and attentiveness
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare environments
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey information to families and team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to the changing needs of children in a dynamic setting
