Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, delivering, and installing cabinetry at various locations. Additionally, the role involves fabricating, assembling, and finishing millwork parts according to layout package specifications. The Cabinet Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our installation processes.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately install kitchen cabinets.
- Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fit of cabinetry components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble and install cabinets securely.
- Perform related tasks such as leveling, aligning, and securing cabinets to walls or floors.
- Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate with management regarding installation progress and any issues encountered.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving cabinetry components or materials into position.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or general construction work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and measuring devices.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials used in cabinetry.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites.
- Prior experience with construction estimating or schematic reading is advantageous but not required.
