Private Voice Instructor
For over thirty years, The Arts Connection has been the core of arts education in Richmond. The Arts Connection is the parent company of Renaissance Academy of Learning and The Arts Conservatory. Our team of passionate and experienced teachers have been inspiring our community through music, dance, and visual arts.
The Arts Conservatory is seeking a Private Voice Instructor to teach voice students of a range of levels and ages for the 2023-24 School Year. Students are mostly beginners, but some may be Intermediate to Advanced.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teaching weekly in-person private lessons to students
- Tracking student attendance and progress
- Communicating with parents and the School of Music Manager about scheduling and any necessary make-up lessons
- Preparing students for RCM Exams, Recitals, Festivals, and Competitions, based on individual student goals
REQUIREMENTS
- Formal Vocal Education (e.g. Diploma, Degree, or similar equivalency)
- Comfort working with students age 7 and older
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred
- Ability to teach other instruments also an asset
Private Music Instructors are Independent Contractors, with rates ranging from $30-$36 per hour based on qualifications. There is a $0.55/hour Office Levy fee to cover unlimited use of our facilities, photocopier/scanner, phones, etc.
This is a contract position.
Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
