Delivery Driver – Class 3 or Class 1
As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers, ensuring that the products are delivered on time, accurate and in good condition. The successful team member will be required to perform and complete necessary driver requirements such as pre and post trip inspections, e-log books, etc. The Delivery Driver will operate flat-deck straight trucks equipped with knuckle booms OR tractor-trailer equipped with hitchhiker to off load material on job sites through Atlantic Canada.
This role requires:
· Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
o Type of truck driven will depend on class of license
3+ years of driving experience
· Grade 12 diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs
· Continually ensuring vehicle is clean, organized, and free of hazardous conditions
· Actively participating in safety and maintenance programs
· Previous experience operating a knuckle boom and/or hitchhiker is an asset
· Solid communication and interpersonal skills
· Must be highly organized and able to manage time effectively
· Positive professional attitude
· Punctual with solid attendance record
