Job Summary
The Gilded Pear is looking for an experienced, licensed hairstylist to join our salon.
We are specifically looking for a fully licensed stylist, with or without a clientele and is looking for a welcoming, professional salon where they can continue to grow their business.
This position is not for an apprentice.
We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the chair, comfortable working independently, and experienced in providing consistent, high-quality services. Just as important, we want someone who is friendly, dependable, professional, and a good fit with both our team and our clients.
What we’re looking for:
- Fully licensed hairstylist
- Previous salon experience
- Confident with cutting, colouring, styling and consultations
- Professional and reliable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to manage appointments and maintain strong client relationships
- Keeps a clean, organized work area
- Works well as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently

The Gilded Pear is an established salon with a loyal client base and a comfortable, professional atmosphere. We value good service, quality work and creating an environment where clients feel welcome and stylists enjoy coming to work.
We are looking for the right experienced stylist to become part of our salon, rather than simply filling a chair.
