Our client, SOAM Construction, is currently looking for a Temporary General Labourer to assist with the renovation and restoration of a pizza parlour located in Markdale, ON. This is a full-time position estimated to run for approximately 6 weeks with the potential for additional opportunities for the right candidate. Straight dayshift starting immediately from Monday to Friday with wages starting at $21 per hour.

About the Role
The Temporary General Labourer will work directly with the SOAM Construction leads and other tradespeople on the renovation and restoration of a pizza parlour. The successful candidate will assist with general labour, material handling, site cleanup, and other tasks required to support the renovation project. Duties may include:
- Assisting Skilled Tradespeople & Construction Workers
- Moving, Loading, & Unloading Materials & Equipment
- Using Hand & Power Tools as Required
- Assisting with Demolition, Renovation & Restoration Tasks
- Maintaining Clean & Organized Work Site
- Removing Debris & Construction Waste
- Preparing Materials & Work Areas
- Following Directions from Site Supervisors & Tradespeople
- Performing Other Related Duties as Assigned
Job Requirements
- Previous Experience in Construction, Renovations, Restoration, Or General Labour
- Comfortable & Handy with Basic Hand & Power Tools
- Ability To Perform Physically Demanding Work Including Lifting & Carrying Materials
- Strong Work Ethic & Positive Attitude
- Reliable & Punctual
- Ability To Follow Instructions & Work Effectively as Team Member
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to Work Safely in an Active Construction Environment
- Must Be Comfortable Working Indoors & Outdoors as Required
