Garden Centre salesperson, helping customers pick-out plants, plant knowledge is a must. You must have and understanding of trees and shrubs and an all around knowledge and experience of outdoor plant use, how to plant and care for. If you know nothing about plants, this is not for you, please do not apply. If you have no availability on weekends also do not apply. Showing customers where particular plants are located, sometimes assistance with loading plants into vehicles will be required.
Daily routine of organizing plants, signage and some watering and trimming of plants.
Ability to communicate efficiently with all team members in a fast paced environment.
Positive, friendly , helpful attitude exhibited at ALL TIMES to all customers.
Some heavy repetitive lifting will be required.
We will train in all aspects of horticulture sales.
You will also be using point of sale system, computer, debit machine, if this as an are you feel you will not be proficient need not apply.
This job does open up into other areas long-term sales, managerial positions etc.
