Main duties are to make breakfast bun on the run's, pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Early morning hours. West Saanich location. $20-21/hr + aprox. $6/tips /hr
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
- Independent work; multitasking and organization
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Food safe certification.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with front of house staff and commissary kitchen staff.
