Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting processes, and supporting overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in various accounting software and possess a thorough understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and account reconciliation procedures. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and efficiency are highly valued. Candidates knowledge & experience will be tested during interview process. We currently operate 3 business divisions under this group all of which is simple yet detail oriented accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process payroll using accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks,
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Accounts Receivable & invoicing — generate & send invoices, apply payments, own collections on overdue accounts.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Daily purchase orders — issue POs for each location as operations request them, code
- them correctly, and keep the PO-to-invoice loop clean.
- Document as you go — build and maintain SOPs for every process you own, so the function is repeatable and not dependent on any one person.
- Candidate will be working on site in a clean & professional corporate office setting at one of our locations.

- Candidate must be enthusiastic, maintain a positive attitude and be willing to work diligently & patiently.
- As the role excels into a controller position the pay scale would be increased significantly.
Qualifications
- 3 Years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or similar role with full-charge responsibilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
- Self directed & self motivated ( candidate must be able to work on his/her own)

Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
