Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Gas Bar Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service at the fuel station, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring smooth operations at the gas station. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Provide product information and conduct product demos when applicable
- Upsell additional products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station area, including merchandising displays
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during fueling operations and handle any customer concerns promptly
- Manage inventory levels of convenience store items and restock shelves as needed
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of POS systems and other technology used at the station
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills, time management, organizational skills, and professionalism are essential for success in this role
- Previous experience in merchandising or technology sales can be beneficial but is not mandatory
