Job Overview:
Looking to start or grow your career in leasing and real estate? As a Leasing Assistant at Skyline, you’ll play a key supporting role in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective residents. You’ll be the friendly face onsite by greeting visitors, conducting tours, and helping prospects navigate the rental process with ease. Working closely with the Leasing Agent, you’ll help keep leasing activities organized, efficient, and running smoothly day‑to‑day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Be the first point of contact onsite by welcoming prospective residents and creating a positive first impression.

Conduct engaging property and suite tours, showcasing features and community amenities.

Provide clear and accurate information about pricing, availability, lease terms, and application steps.

Assist prospects with completing rental applications and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

Support the Leasing Agent with administrative tasks, file organization, and leasing documentation.

Maintain organized and up‑to‑date leasing records in company systems.

Keep rental offices, model suites, and common areas clean, presentable, and tour‑ready.

Communicate professionally with prospects, residents, and internal teams to support a smooth leasing journey.

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable housing legislation.
Qualifications:

A strong communicator with confident verbal and written skills.

Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Comfortable working independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment.

Tech‑savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.

Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about the Residential Tenancies Act and Human Rights Code.
Education & Experience:

Background in customer service, administration, reception, or leasing support preferred.

Experience with leasing documentation and rental processes is an asset.
