We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
In this position, you will be responsible for front desk operations, appointment coordination, patient communication, insurance and billing support, and assisting with the smooth flow of daily clinic operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using dental practice management software.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system professionally and direct calls appropriately.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, treatment, fees, and general clinic information.
- Verify and update patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims and pre-determinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, and dental charts in the electronic practice management system.
- Process patient payments and assist with billing and account inquiries.
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and follow-up information when required.
- Coordinate closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and other team members to maintain smooth patient flow.
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with general office organization and inventory of front desk supplies.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1 year experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental/medical office is required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures.
- Experience with dental practice management software is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and working in a busy environment.
- Experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing is an asset.
- Ability to communicate professionally with patients, dental professionals, and insurance companies.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and professional appearance.
- Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills are an asset.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English and Mandarin preferred
- Cantonese is an asset but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
