We are seeking a dedicated Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating food from the heart and experience in commercial kitchen operations. As the Lead Line Cook, you will play pivotal role in meal preparation, ensuring dish quality and presentation are the highest standards. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in meal preparation with developed knife skills and kitchen etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the general kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate/Communicate with all the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment, smallware's, and all surfaces
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling (valid food handlers certificate preferred).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
