Woodfield Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer & Logistics Support to support daily procurement and logistics operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are sourced efficiently, inventory is maintained, and production and sales teams are supported with timely and cost-effective solutions.
Job Duties:
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Obtain and compare supplier quotes to support pricing for sales and engineering teams.
- Monitor and track raw material pricing and market trends.
- Create and issue purchase orders for MAVEN Fleet materials.
- Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply to meet production demands.
- Maintain and update SKU database and product information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date price lists.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist with full physical inventory counts as required.
Logistics & Shipping
- Coordinate inbound shipments and track delivery timelines.
- Prepare shipping documentation for outbound orders.
- Work with freight carriers to secure cost-effective and reliable shipping solutions.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed (forklift use required - training provided).
General Operations
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, production) to ensure alignment on materials and timelines.
- Support continuous improvement of inventory and procurement processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, or a related role.
- Pursuing a diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Pay: $53,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
