Job description:
Les Marchés TAU is a family-owned natural foods retailer committed to offering its customers high-quality organic and natural products. We are looking for a kitchen manager to oversee food service operations in certain stores (Laval, Pointe-Claire, Blainville, and Brossard), including any future locations.
The position is based at the Laval head office and requires regular store visits to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in the kitchens and cafés. This role is for someone who is passionate about food, known for their organizational skills, and committed to team development.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends (flexibility required)
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen and café operations in several locations
- Standardize menus, recipes, and food service procedures
- Manage staff schedules and fill in as needed
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and food cost control to maintain margins
- Implement and monitor loss prevention practices
- Create and maintain product sheets
- Communicate regularly with headquarters and in-store management teams
- Collaborate with branch managers to supervise and train kitchen and café staff.
Location:
Position based in Laval with regular travel to branches in Pointe-Claire, Blainville, Brossard, and any future branches.
