Sales Specialist – Quoting & Business Development Support
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Specialist to join our team, with a focus on preparing accurate sales quotes and supporting business development activities. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within a sales-focused career path.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring quotes are delivered accurately and on time, while also helping the sales team uncover opportunities and deliver value to new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and competitive sales quotes based on customer needs, product information, and pricing guidelines.
- Support the sales and business development teams by gathering key information, responding to customer inquiries, and helping to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of quotes, customer details, and deal progress using tools such as HubSpot and Commonsku.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and procurement) to gather inputs needed for accurate quoting.
- Help analyze past quotes and customer feedback to improve accuracy and relevance in future quotes.
- Participate in proposal development, sales presentations, and RFP responses when needed.
- Contribute to identifying potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities during the quoting process.
- Recommend ways to improve quoting processes, tools, and customer communication.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, quoting, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM and quoting platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Commonsku).
- Eagerness to learn about the sales process, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
