Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and quoting parts requests, sourcing inventory as well as managing incoming orders and outgoing customer pick ups. This role requires strong data entry skills, familiarity with inventory systems, and a solid understanding of mechanical and supply chain processes. The Parts Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining efficient operations by sourcing parts, coordinating with vendors, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Provide customer quotes
- Source parts from suppliers
- Manage inventory
- Operate forklift or loader as needed for inventory movement (certification preferred).
Skills
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred, especially in the heavy equipment sector.
- Experience with inventory systems
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
