Preschool Teacher - Commences September 2026
The successful candidate will:
- Plan, prep and team teach three classes
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about children's progress
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and development
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
- Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Education
-Criminal Record Check
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
We offer competitive pay based on experience and education. Government top up based on ECE level is paid on top of hourly wage. We do not offer benefits.
Hours are Monday & Wednesday 8:00 am-12:00 pm, Tuesday/Thursday 8:00-3:30, Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 or 3:30 pm (Friday schedule will be set in advance). This is a one year contract (September-June) with the potential for this position to continue.
