Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to guests
- Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and plating as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
