Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel Sales Team Lead to join our team in Burnaby, BC.
This is a sales-focused leadership role for an experienced travel professional who has a strong background in selling travel products and leading a team of travel consultants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching team members, improving sales results, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires someone who understands the travel sales industry, knows how to achieve sales targets, and can support a team in a fast-paced sales environment.
Please note: Due to the requirements of this position, candidates who do not have the required travel sales experience and previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team of travel consultants will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Travel Consultants to achieve sales goals.
- Drive sales performance and help improve team revenue results.
- Coach team members on sales techniques, customer service, upselling, and follow-up strategies.
- Monitor daily sales activity, performance goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide feedback and guidance to improve individual and team performance.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Share expertise in selling vacation packages, cruises, hotels, tours, and air travel.
- Maintain a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team environment.
- Lead by example through strong sales skills and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a travel agency or travel sales environment in Canada.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or leading a team of travel consultants is required.
- Proven experience selling travel products, including vacation packages, cruises, hotels, tours, and air travel.
- Strong sales ability with experience working toward targets and performance goals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
