Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Front End Developer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will contribute to building innovative, user-friendly web applications by leveraging modern front-end technologies and collaborating within an Agile environment. Duties
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, and other web services for seamless data exchange.
- Write clean, efficient code with a focus on UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
- Implement unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Assist in deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and help optimize front-end performance for various browsers and devices.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git or SVN for source code management.
- Support the integration of front-end components with back-end systems built on frameworks like Spring, Django, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
- Engage in Agile development processes using tools like Jira and Trello for task management and sprint planning.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end trends and technologies such as TypeScript, Vue.js, Redux, Data visualization libraries, and UI/UX principles.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular or React), jQuery, AJAX, SCSS/SASS, JSON, XML.
- Knowledge of front-end build tools such as Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio; experience with DevOps practices including Docker, Jenkins, Ansible is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development best practices including SEO optimization and responsive design principles.
- Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, SOAP web services; understanding of application security standards is desirable.
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python (Django), Ruby on Rails; familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team environment using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent communication abilities; eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Pay: Up to $54,000.00 per year
