Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English, Math, and French Tutor to join our vibrant educational team, specializing in French immersion programs in Niagara Falls. Duties
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in English, Math, and French tailored to each student’s learning style and needs.
- Support students participating in French immersion programs by enhancing their language comprehension and conversational skills.
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate writing skills, classroom activities, and interactive exercises.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate students with different learning abilities and backgrounds, including those who speak Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, or other languages.
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence, curiosity, and active participation.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to align tutoring strategies with curriculum standards and student goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children or in an educational setting, preferably with classroom experience or tutoring roles.
- Strong proficiency in English and French; additional language skills such as Mandarin, Spanish or Japanese are a plus.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create clear lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Demonstrated ability to teach Math effectively alongside language instruction.
- Passionate about education with excellent communication skills and patience.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Prior experience in tutoring or classroom teaching is highly desirable.

Pay: $18.16-$21.00 per hour
