We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Conveyancer to join a collaborative boutique law firm, managing residential and commercial real estate transactions while delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Manage residential and commercial real estate conveyancing files from opening through closing.
Prepare and review conveyancing documents for purchases, sales, refinances, and mortgage transactions.
Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, realtors, and other legal professionals to facilitate successful closings.
Conduct title, corporate, and other property-related searches as required.
Prepare and register documents using applicable BC land title and conveyancing systems.
Maintain accurate client files, calendars, and transaction deadlines.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and ensure a seamless transaction process.
Assist lawyers with subdivision matters and other real estate transactions as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and firm procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Conveyancer in a British Columbia law firm.
Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong experience handling residential and commercial conveyancing files independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and BC real estate conveyancing software.
Experience with subdivisions is considered a strong asset.
