Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ready Mix Driver to operate commercial vehicles responsible for delivering concrete and related materials to construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and safe driving practices. This role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries and supporting the successful completion of various construction projects.
Duties
- Safely operate ready mix concrete trucks and other heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and paving machinery.
- Deliver concrete to construction sites according to schedule, ensuring accurate placement and handling.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist with loading materials, including concrete, aggregates, or other related supplies, using appropriate machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and delivery processes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery times, site conditions, or any issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each load transported.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Experience in construction environments, including paving, concrete forming, or related trades preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, or concrete finishing tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and transportation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Physical ability to load/unload materials and operate equipment as needed.

Pay: $28.00-$35.87 per hour
