Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct fieldwork to collect biological samples and data from various environments
- Perform laboratory experiments and analyses to support research objectives
- Utilize statistical software and programming languages such as R and Python for data analysis
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, observations, and results in accordance with scientific standards
- Assist in designing research protocols and experimental procedures
- Collaborate with team members to interpret data and prepare reports or publications
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safety procedures are followed in laboratory settings
- Support ongoing research projects by contributing innovative ideas and solutions
Skills
- Proficiency in R and Python programming for data analysis and visualization
- Experience with data collection methods in field or laboratory settings
- Strong background in scientific research methodologies and experimental design
- Laboratory experience including sample preparation, microscopy, or chemical analysis is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings clearly and effectively

Pay: $50,172.89-$102,298.50 per year
