At Ripple Effect Counselling and Psychotherapy, we believe small, authentic moments of connection create meaningful change. We also believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, connected, and inspired.
With over 70 years of combined experience across our founding directors, we are continuing to grow our Toronto-based practice and are seeking a Lead Psychologist to help shape the next phase of our psychological services.
The Role
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide assessment and intervention for children, youth, and adults, while playing a central role in developing and advancing our Psychological Services.
This role combines clinical work with leadership and service development. You will contribute to building a thoughtful, high-quality assessment and treatment program, help define best practices, and support the continued growth of our practice.
Key Areas of Work Include:
- Psychological and diagnostic assessment (e.g., ADHD, Autism, Giftedness, diagnostic clarification)
- Therapeutic intervention across the lifespan
- Consultation with families and community systems
You will also have opportunities to mentor colleagues, contribute to program development, and help guide the future direction of services within a collaborative and experienced team.
This role is well-suited to a psychologist who values relational, developmentally attuned care and is energized by building and shaping clinical services within a growing organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Psychologist (CPBAO, autonomous practice)
- Strong experience in assessment and intervention across age groups
- Commitment to relational, strength-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care
- Interest in leadership, service development, and clinical excellence
- Collaborative, reflective, and growth-oriented approach
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with complex or nuanced presentations
- Background in mentoring, supervision, or program development
- Familiarity with GTA-based services and systems
What You’ll Love:
- Opportunity to shape and grow a psychological service within an established practice
- New clinic space in Roncesvalles Village
- Collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
- Administrative, billing, marketing, and referral support
- Opportunities for professional development, workshops, and community involvement
Our work is grounded in relational, strength-based practice, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and neuroscience-informed approaches. We are committed to providing integrative, evidence-informed care in a warm and collaborative environment.
