Job Description:
Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centres Burnaby-Kingsway is looking for a third or fourth year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Job Duties:
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
- Performing scheduled maintenance service.
- Testing and repairing systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Reviewing work orders and discussing next steps with the Manager.
- Diagnosing faults and malfunctions and confirming findings with the Manager to determine whether to repair or replace and perform work required.
- Road testing motor vehicles and testing automotive systems and components.
Skills Requirements: Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centres are full service, automotive repair facilities. Experience is required in diagnosing and adjusting, repairing, and/or replacing automotive systems and components related to: Air Conditioning, Alignments, Belts & Hoses, Brakes, Charging, Cooling System, Diagnostics, Fluid Flushes, Fuel Injection Change, Lights, Muffler & Exhaust System/Custom Exhaust, Oil & Filter Change, Shocks & Struts, Steering & Suspension, Timing Belts, Tires & Wheels, Transmission Service, etc.
Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence (required)
- Experience in custom exhaust (asset)
