The Career Foundation is hosting a job fair for Tactical Event Security Guards on behalf of Synergy Protection Group inc. on the employer partners.

- Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
- Number of Vacancies: Multiple
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Respond to emergencies and follow proper escalation procedures.
- Interact with the public using a professional, customer‑service-focused approach.
- Enforce the Trespass to Property Act and site rules.
- Identify and address threatening, fraudulent, or inappropriate behaviour.
- Assist and coordinate with law enforcement when required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report irregularities.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Minimum 3 years of security experience.
- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
- Capable of responding effectively in emergency situations.
- Professional deportment and strong situational awareness.
- Use of Force certification (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
