Job Description: Our client is seeking Paint Line Operators to join their manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating and supporting an automated paint line, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment performance, and contributing to safe and efficient production operations. Shift Premiums: Afternoons $0.85/hour and Midnights $1.00/hour

Shift Structure: This role operates Mon-Fri on a 2-week rotating shift pattern of three shifts, which includes:
- Days 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Afternoons 3:30pm to 11:30pm
- Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am
Key Responsibilities:
Paint Line Operation & Equipment Maintenance
- Load and unload components onto and from an automated paint line utilizing lifting and material handling equipment.
- Operate paint line equipment safely and efficiently to meet production requirements.
- Clean paint tips and perform basic adjustments to spray equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot minor paint line and equipment issues within the scope of training.
- Participate in required safety and equipment training programs, including respirator training.
Quality Control & Inspection
- Monitor paint viscosity to ensure proper application and process control.
- Measure wet and dry paint film thickness using appropriate testing equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections to verify product quality and finish standards.
- Identify and report quality concerns and non-conforming products.
- Complete all required production, process, and quality documentation accurately.
Production Support & Flexibility
- Support other production areas through cross-training and job rotation as required.
- Adapt to changing production schedules, priorities, and operational needs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Health & Safety
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report hazards, incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Experience operating industrial equipment or automated production lines is preferred.
· Paint line experience is an asset but not required.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset.
· Ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting and adjustments.
· Basic computer skills for completing production and quality records.
· Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
· Ability to accurately follow work instructions and procedures.
· Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
· Comfortable working around paint processes and wearing respiratory protection when required.
· Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new processes.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
