As an Apprentice Welder, you'll work alongside experienced welders and supervisors, gaining hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, material handling, and quality workmanship. What You'll Do
- Learn and perform GMAW (MIG) welding in a production environment
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of components and attachments
- Develop skills in blueprint reading, weld symbols, and welding procedures
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Learn proper material handling and overhead crane practices
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities
- Support production requirements while working collaboratively with your team
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Enrollment in or completion of a welding program is considered an asset
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in welding and the skilled trades
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good attendance, reliability, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from coaching and feedback
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to perform physical work in an industrial manufacturing environment

Working Conditions
This role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in a manufacturing environment. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required personal protective equipment, including safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and welding gear.
