Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and maintenance, along with the skills necessary to ensure the health and safety of trees in various environments. This role requires both technical expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess the health and condition of trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize equipment such as bucket trucks and rigs for high-access work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and tree health assessments.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tree care recommendations and services offered.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in arboriculture is preferred.
- Familiarity with assessing tree conditions is a plus.
- Proficient in bucket operation and rigging techniques for safe tree removal and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of plant biology, tree species identification, and pest management strategies.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety practices.
