We’re looking for a content creator and social media manager to run the daily social media presence for two high-profile Vancouver entrepreneurs, capturing their work and lifestyle in a way that feels authentic, polished, and engaging.
About Them
Our clients are two established entrepreneurs, each building something of their own.
She is a serial entrepreneur, published author, and thought leader in the startup and business partnership space, actively launching new ventures and speaking across North America.
He is an award-winning chef and well-known figure in Vancouver’s food and hospitality scene, currently expanding several new ventures in the downtown core.
No two days look the same. Between business meetings, speaking engagements, events, restaurant visits, travel, and behind-the-scenes moments, they’re looking for someone who can transform everyday experiences into compelling, high-quality content across their personal social media channels.
What You’ll Own
- Create, capture, edit, and publish daily content across social platforms, primarily Instagram, with opportunities to grow LinkedIn and other channels where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar and visual direction that reflects each client’s distinct personal brand.
- Capture content in real time during meetings, speaking engagements, events, business visits, and day-to-day activities, while also planning intentional content shoots.
- Edit photos and videos to a polished, premium standard using both mobile and desktop tools.
- Write engaging captions that reflect each client’s authentic voice.
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages where appropriate, while flagging conversations that require personal attention.
- Stay ahead of trends, identify content opportunities before they’re missed, and proactively keep both clients on schedule with content creation.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats to maximize reach and consistency across platforms.
- Use AI tools to streamline content planning, editing, caption creation, repurposing, research, and workflow efficiency while maintaining an authentic, human voice.
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media or content for a personal brand, entrepreneur, executive, or public figure.
- Strong photography and videography skills, particularly creating premium content using an iPhone.
- Excellent editing skills for short-form video and social content.
- A proactive self-starter who naturally spots content opportunities without waiting for direction.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and fast-changing schedules.
- Comfortable working in person to capture authentic moments throughout the week.
- Excellent judgment, professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
- Based in or around Vancouver.
- Comfortable and proficient using AI as part of a modern content workflow.
AI & Content Tools
AI is an important part of how we work. We’re looking for someone who already incorporates AI into their creative process to improve speed, quality, and consistency.
