WallpaperOnline is a Vancovuer-based creator of kick-ass wall designs and murals which can provide instant flair to any space. We started in Vancouver in 2023 and now ship all across Canada and the US. From simple patterns to vibrant murals, we work with clients on residential spaces, hotels, restaurants, shops, and more.
We are looking for someone to join us in a Freelance role, who has experience and connections in the PR world. In an AI-driven world, search is changing - and more and more emphasis is being placed on strong DA inbound links from reputable sources. We have been featured in Western Living, Home & Decor, Toronto Star, and Daily Hive, but we need to keep building to ensure we can remain front and center when clients are searching for wallpaper.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are simple - build and execute a strategy for story placements and high-DA inbound links. If we can build brand awareness with interior designers and clients, then we're on for a win. To do this, you'll need to cultivate strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets to secure coverage and partnerships
Role
This is by no means an entry-level position, nor does it require the most experienced PR in the city. You will need to have experience in PR - preferably in the Interior Design world, but not a requirement. This is a freelance role, meaning there is no need to come to our office, unless you'd like to. The advertised salary is open to discussion, depending on your experience and can be crafted to increase with your success. This is not a job for someone looking for full-time hours, and is perfect for someone with experience that is looking for a side hustle.
