Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Profitec POS are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Use POS systems like Profitec POS to process orders, handle cash, and manage transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Handle cashing out customers accurately and responsibly using cash handling procedures
- Serve food items when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Demonstrate good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in bartending roles
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all applicable laws and regulations
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
