About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting & Office Administrator to join our team. This is a dynamic role that combines accounting, payroll, office administration, and logistics support. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, and enjoys contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
Responsibilities
Accounting & Payroll
- Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoicing, payment processing, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Process Accounts Payable (A/P), including entering vendor invoices and preparing payments.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare and submit government payroll remittances and other required government filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end accounting tasks as required.
Office Administration
- Provide general office support, including answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors when required.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Perform data entry, document preparation, and record management.
- Order office supplies and assist with general office operations.
- Support management with administrative tasks and special projects.
Shipping & Logistics
- Monitor incoming shipments and containers to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers.
- Track shipment status and communicate updates or delays to the team.
- Maintain shipping records and related documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and government remittances.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination is considered an asset.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
