Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Stud Framer to join our construction team. This role involves framing structures using steel studs and related materials, contributing to the successful completion of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, or related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Prior experience with heavy equipment operation, welding, and concrete finishing is a plus. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately assemble steel framing components
- Measure and cut steel studs and framing materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install steel studs according to project specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks as needed
- Operate heavy equipment safely for material handling and site preparation
- Use welding techniques to join steel components when required
- Work with other trades such as siding, woodworking, and concrete finishing teams to ensure project cohesion
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or steel framing preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and restoration processes is advantageous
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $19.71-$27.00 per hour
