Play It Again Sports® is your neighborhood sporting goods store offering new and quality used sports and fitness equipment. Kids grow like weeds, teens want name brand everything and you want affordable prices! That is why Play It Again Sports® is the sporting goods store for your entire family. We buy, sell and trade new and used sports equipment and fitness gear and pass along the savings to you! We carry popular brands like Bauer, CCM, Warrior, Howie's, etc.
We are seeking sports minded, with customer service oriented people to be a part of this great concept. Hockey playing experience is a must! Skiing experience is a bonus!
Full-Time employees can expect 25-35 hours per week, especially during our busy season (Fall and Winter)
This position will provides a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner. Additional responsibilities include the buying of used merchandise and sharpening skates. All training provided. The right candidate will be available to work days/nights and weekends. We certainly understand the demand of hockey and sports schedules since our staff is likely to be involved in sports, therefor we do our best to accommodate everyone's schedule.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sell products effectively while demonstrating strong upselling techniques.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist customers with inquiries via phone and in-person, ensuring excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and technology sales to provide accurate information to customers.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking when necessary.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Proficient in technology sales, showcasing products confidently to potential buyers.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
