The successful candidate must be registered in good standing as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certificate. You will have two years of nursing experience. Preferred experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Experience in Addiction Medicine nursing is required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a B.Sc.N and/or CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to develop the Nurse-Client relationship and work within a dynamic collaborative and diverse inter-professional team. Effective leadership, decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills are required. You have demonstrated ability to intervene effectively in the prevention and management of clinical situations. The ability to work with clients of diverse cultural and social backgrounds within an Addiction Medicine framework is necessary. Computer literacy is required. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
Salary Range: $41.15 - $58.98/hour
