Content Creator — GT Hair Boutique
Location: Toronto, ON (with occasional travel required to our London and Kitchener locations)
Job Type: Part-time (approx. 1 day/week to start, flexible between filming and editing days) Compensation: $25-$30 an hour
About Us
GT Hair Boutique is an appointment-only hair loss solutions boutique with locations across Ontario.
We're growing, and we're looking for a Content Creator who can help the world see what happens inside our boutique: the transformations, the team, and the genuine care that makes GT Hair Boutique different.
The Role
This is a creative ownership role, not a task list. You'll be given real responsibility over our content goals and strategy — deciding what we create, why, and how it ties back to growing our brand.
Day to day, that means you're behind the camera, in the editing software, and occasionally on the phone lining up who and what we're filming next.
This is a part-time role starting at roughly one day a week, with flexibility in how that time is split between filming, editing, and planning — we care about the work getting done well, not rigid hours.
What You'll Do
- Set the content vision — Own our content goals and plans, not just individual pieces. You'll decide what we should be creating and why, and bring that strategy to us.
- Ideate — Come up with content concepts that fit our brand voice: warm, empathetic, and never clinical. You'll pitch ideas, not just wait for direction.
- Source & schedule talent — Line up clients (with consent), team members, and any outside talent needed for shoots. Handle the scheduling logistics so shoot days run smoothly.
- Shoot & produce — Operate cameras and run video shoots from setup to wrap, comfortable working in a real, occupied boutique environment.
- Edit & publish — Turn raw footage into polished, on-brand long-form and short-form video, as well as still photos ready for organic social and, eventually, paid ad campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- Proven expertise running social media accounts, with a portfolio spanning both long-form and short-form video
- Experience creating content start-to-finish, from concept to published post
- Comfortable operating cameras and basic lighting/audio setups
- Strong editing skills (whatever your tool of choice — just show us the results)
- Self-directed and strategic — you can take "grow our presence" and turn it into an actual plan
- Excellent people skills — you'll be coordinating with clients and talent, often in emotionally sensitive situations
- Based in the Toronto area, with occasional travel to our London and Kitchener locations
- Bonus: experience with paid social ad creative (Meta/Google) or interest in growing into it
Who is a good fit
This isn't a "post and forget" social media job. You'll have real ownership over how our brand looks and feels to the world, working directly with our small, hands-on team. It's an especially good fit if you're already building your own following and looking for a flexible, paid outlet to put that skill and creative eye to work.
How to Apply
Apply through Indeed with your resume and a portfolio, reel, or links to work you're proud of. We'd love to see examples that show range — ideation, filming, and editing.
