Love working outdoors? Kingsville Golf & Country Club is now accepting resumes for Part-Time, Seasonal employees for the Greens Department to help maintain our golf course and keep it in pristine condition throughout the season.
About the Role
As part of our Grounds Crew, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the beauty and playability of our course. From mowing fairways to raking bunkers, every day brings something new in a team-oriented, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mowing greens, fairways, rough, and tee areas
- Raking and maintaining bunkers
- Operating machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Assisting with irrigation and drainage maintenance
- Landscaping tasks such as seeding, sodding, and pruning
- Keeping pathways, course features, and common areas clean and presentable
- Following safety protocols and maintaining equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors
- Ability to work early mornings, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance (preferred but not required)
- Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
Hours:
- Part-time; approximately 28 hours per week during peak season
- Early mornings, weekends and holidays are required
- Weather, course conditions and operational needs may impact hours
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching and twisting
- Repetitive movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions including hot, humid temperatures, rain, etc.
- Exposure to loud noise and vibration associated with operation of grounds maintenance equipment and machinery
