Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Psychologist or Registered Provisional Psychologist specializing in Teen Mental Health to join our team in Calgary. This role is vital in delivering tailored mental health support to young clients, aligning with our mission to foster positive development and resilience among teenagers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored for adolescent clients.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on teen mental health.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in adolescent psychology.
- Support data collection efforts for ongoing research projects.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for young clients and their families.
- Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist with CAP.
- Experience working with children and teenagers
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to psychology.
- Excellent patient care skills and empathetic communication.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in adolescent mental health.
