Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a commitment to quality care and continuous professional development. Position is only available for one day per week plus alternating Saturday.
Experience with IPAC is a must
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Provide support with orthodontic procedures when necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Skills
- Proficiency inAbeldent or other dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Experience in dental assisting and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
- Excellent understanding of infection control protocols and dental office procedures
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
