Position Overview:

Our Service Supervisor is the hands-on leader who raises the bar on every job: coaching technicians on site, catching issues before they become callbacks, and making sure every customer sees Welldone at its best. This is not a desk job - success comes from being present on job sites, sharing your technical expertise, and setting other techs up for success. You are the critical link between our field team and office coordination, and a big part of the reason our work is done right the first time.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide hands-on field leadership through regular job site visits, real-time technical support, and troubleshooting alongside our technicians.

Lead our Quality Control program: conduct job site inspections, quality audits, and post-completion reviews on preventive maintenance and service work.

Review service documentation, including BuildOps reports, for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.

Coach technicians on workmanship, efficiency, documentation, and customer communication - delivering immediate, constructive feedback that prevents repeat issues.

Track callbacks, warranty work, and recurring service concerns; identify workmanship issues, training needs, and process improvements that reduce rework.

Strengthen handoffs between dispatch, service coordination, and project teams to keep job timelines predictable.

Step in with customers when technical credibility or a quality intervention is needed - identify the root cause, resolve the issue, and prevent repeat problems.

Reinforce safe work practices, PPE compliance, and code and regulatory standards on every site.

Share findings and recommendations with the Service Manager to guide technician development and continuous improvement, and take part in weekly service team meetings.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a service-based or technical environment; previous HVAC industry experience is required.

Journeyperson certificate in a related trade is a strong asset (Red Seal welcome).

Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting skills on commercial mechanical systems.

Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience - you make the technicians around you better.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with customers and coworkers alike.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software; BuildOps experience is an advantage - we will train the right candidate.

Comfortable learning new technology and following established processes.

Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.

Self-motivated with a personal commitment to continuous improvement, team development, and delivering exceptional service.
