We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Assistant / Junior Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds.
This position is ideal for someone with basic maintenance or hands-on experience who is looking to grow their skills in a stable, full-time role. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Pool & Spa Support
- Assist with daily maintenance of the indoor pool and hot tub
- Support water testing, cleaning, and general upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and surrounding areas
General Maintenance & Repairs
- Complete basic work orders and maintenance tasks
- Assist with minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, furniture, etc.)
- Support painting, drywall touch-ups, and general repairs
Grounds & Exterior Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of parking lot and landscaped areas
- Empty trash bins and cigarette receptacles
- Assist with seasonal duties, including:
- Snow removal and sanding
- Grass cutting and weed control
- Maintain patio areas and outdoor furniture
Preventative Maintenance
- Follow daily preventative maintenance checklists
- Assist with routine inspections and basic record-keeping
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Shifts include:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- On-call availability for emergency situations (training provided)

Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent in English
- Must be bondable (no criminal record)
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
