On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting an experienced Shipping Clerk for a full-time opportunity in WATERLOO.
If you’re an organized logistics professional with manufacturing shipping experience and a strong attention to detail, we’d like to hear from you! We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.
Pay Rate: $28.10/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
Shift: Days – Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

- Coordinate daily outbound shipments with warehouse and material handling staff
- Check drivers in and out while maintaining accurate shipping records
- Prepare shipping documentation for courier, LTL, live loads, customs, and international shipments
- Ensure shipping paperwork is complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner
- Work closely with Customer Service and Logistics to resolve shipping inquiries and support on-time deliveries
- Follow established shipping procedures while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Identify, document, and communicate product, process, or quality concerns through established procedures
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shipping area
- Comply with all company safety, quality, and operational policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of Shipping Clerk or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience preparing shipping documentation, including UPS, LTL, live loads, customs, and international shipments
- Strong understanding of shipping, freight, and logistics processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Basic math skills with the ability to accurately count and verify parts and shipments
- Valid external forklift (tow motor) licence and operating experience considered a strong asset
- Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic
